OBOW Light Travel Forum > My one-bag packing list

I thought I'd share my packing list for a casual trip. Note that my travel clothes tend to lean toward the outdoors/mountaineering side, which isn't for everyone. Criticisms/critiques more than welcome. Also. if you have any questions about the stuff in the list, let me know. Thanks for reading.

It's funny how when you read the list it looks a lot, then look at the actual items packed and it looks so little. Excellent list there SH, I like the bag too.

Good list. Outdoorsy choices indeed but that is a matter of personal preference. I just noticed there was no sweater or fleece cardigan on the list. So I suppose this is the summer list or you are wearing that and that's why it's not on the pack list.

So you take only a single pair of shoes? I do like to take two pairs. I know that would be a wonderful way to save some good weight but I like the style change, the added functionality and the fact that my feet like to be in different shoes. Good for the feet and good for the shoes.

Yep - good list. You'll forgive me if I turn it into a main page post I'm sure.

Excellent list / job SH - Bravo.

I'm working to a similar standard for my personal travel - only with a
bag at approx. 2000 sq in. (TriStar sized)

Brad intrigued me so much with the 'Red State Aeronaut' that I pulled
the trigger on one. I'll be doing a 'first impressions' similar to the original
MEI EO review I did a couple years back.

I was mildly surprised ...

Stay tuned.

Good travels,
Paul
