Any of the above bags would be a fine acquisition and all have a good reputation, but I suspect that many readers really want to know....WHICH bag did you not sell, and are KEEPING....and WHY?

Not up for sale just yet.
Brain Bag
GR1
Aeronaut
The next time I leave town I'll be taking the GR1. A Scottevest is my travel wallet so I don't need a lot of extra pockets on the outside of the bag. I removed the plastic frame sheet from the GR1 to shed a little weight. The GR1 minus the frame sheet with my Macbook Air is lighter than the Brain Bag with my Macbook Air in a TB Cache sleeve. 7kg is the limit for my airline of choice so every g matters.

Tristar gone.

Tom Bihn Tristar with absolute strap $180 shipped in the US
Red Oxx Air Boss with Red Oxx claw strap $150 shipped in the US
Red Oxx Sky Train with Red Oxx claw strap $165 shipped in the US
Patagonia MLC-NO SHOULDER STRAP-$90 shipped in the US
All are black, and the Red Oxx bags have been given the sharpie treatment to tone down the patch. And all have been around the world at least once. I wouldn't say like new, but near mint with plenty of life left in them.
