I have always allowed readers to sell their travel goods using the Reader's Forum without any type of charge. The seller gets a target audience and has no commission or fees at all.

Lately, we've seen quite an increase in the number of people trying to sell their goods. But all OBOW gets is increased costs.

From now on, I'm going to ask those who sell products on this site to remember us and consider making a small donation to help keep the website running.

(Should you wish to make a donation without selling anything, I'm not going to turn it down.)

This will be completely voluntary. I'm not going to go after anyone if they don't.

I've added a "Donate" button to the website. You'll find it in the left column just under the link to this forum. The site will take credit card payments as well as direct bank transfers. Payments are via Paypal.

Be aware that One Bag, One World is not a registered non-profit organization so your donations are not tax deductible.

Also be advised that I do not get involved with any items for sale other than the ones I post myself. Transactions between parties are between those parties and OBOW takes no part nor will get involved in a dispute.

I am disappointed that this forum has turned into a travel category of Craigslist. I have always liked the tips I read here but now have to scroll through everything that is for sale and, frankly, have pretty much decided to quit coming here for information. Sorry you can't do anything about it. If you charged I am sure it would all stop.
