I was wondering your take on bringing a baggy of powder detergent (is it TSA compliant by the way?), sunscreen, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, shaving cream or buying at our first destination. We'll be staying in an apartment and there is a grocery store a block away?
On our last trip, we forgot my husband's razor and shaving cream. It was fun to purchase these items in the local Tesco. We also bought shampoo and conditioner and what we thought was cottage cheese (it was actually rice pudding with fruit on the bottom - quite yummy).
What Frank said - if feasible to find. Some skin things take a lot of trial and error to find the right-for-me so I take them from home on 3-1-1 sizes.
I have problems with many products so I prefer to take my own, decanted into little Muji tubes/pots - they are cheap enough not to have to worry about taking them home. For some items, I use wipes, e.g. make up remover, bug repellent.
