I've read all the posts above. It's still perplexing choosing a combination business/recreational travelpack. It seems that if weight is less than 15 lbs I can get away without shoulder straps and order the Sky Boss, for example. But on many business trips I get loaded down with 5-10 lbs of paper (presentations etc.) that I don't have time to mail home. That's primary reason I've used TravelPro roll on. Does that dictate that I choose only from strapped products like SkyTrain, MEI Overnight Exec, Aeronaut? Or should I just bring a second bag, a daypack, for those weighty stacks of papers?
I won't tell anyone not to use wheels if their load's too heavy. A good computer/briefcase as personal item may be the answer, but don't kill yourself - you only have two shoulders and one back!
