Garment bag help

garbag.jpgOBOW has a reader in need of a carry-on garment bag recommendations. I used to travel almost exclusively with a garment bag but it has been years since I’ve used one. Can anyone recommend a good one? I like the looks of the Victorinox Travel Luggage Porter Garment Bag - Tri-Fold. (Siera Trading Post has it for under $90 at the moment)

Below is another interesting one from US company SkyRoll, I’ll be reviewing one of these in the next month. The divas at divainacarryon like the rolling version; I’ll be testing the shoulder model.

Here's a garment bag that I've kept my eye on, although I've had the need for it so I haven't purchased. It's on the Campmor website, called the:

High Sierra Tri Fold Garment Bag

The price sure is right - $39.95 - and it has hide away backpack straps, which I thought a worthwhile innovation for garment bags. Take a look.

I've got the red one above and it works just fine for the 1-2 day trip. One thing to watch out for is for is that if you're on the wider or taller side, you'll have to be creative about getting your jacket and pants to fit easily. Invest in some matching hangers, too.
