Maybe a fake wallet could save your trip:

Your grocery store club card: Don’t leave home without it.

That’s my advice as a frequent visitor to places far off the beaten path. My Safeway card, along with a couple of other innocuous buyers’ club cards, helped save the day on my last trip to sub-Saharan Africa. These, plus a fistful of four- and five-figure bills of nearly valueless currencies from places like Vietnam and Ghana.
