A new ultralight from Dell
Dell has joined the just-over-two-pounds-with-a-9-inch-screen laptop fray. The Mini is about $350 with Linux, $450 with XP. Check it out here. Engadget has lots of info here.

More on the Mini…they’re calling this class of computer netbooks. And PC mag is not completely impressed, preferring the MSI Wind and HP Mini-Note. I think the Acer Aspire One (with optional 6-cell battery) may be the best of the bunch.
