25 Travel Gadgets for Under $25

I readily admit that I am a travel gadget freak. Although a minimalist at heart, the amount of travel gadgets I own is disproportional to the size of the bag I take—meaning I leave most home.

The New York Daily News has come up with a list of 25 travel gadgets that are under $25. Some are new to me and I am impressed.  The strange thing is that I only own one on the entire list. Time to catch up. (And I’m not telling which one it is.)

Hmmmm, I lke the Grid-it. Better design than my removeable pocket, purchased in-flight from BA.
It looks heavy though.

Interesting models. We had two pairs of ultra soles that ended up in a dustbin outside the Victorian House hotel in Glasgow because we hadn't used them and it seemed superflous to keep packing them.

I must say that bottle cap tripod is an excellent idea, something so simple that can be used pretty much anywhere on a globally common item.
I do have a couple of the items in that list, the Balanzza scale and a similar product to the wrist bag only mine is a Pacsafe Wrist Safe.

I have a pair of the "Z" pocket slippers. They have a very low rating on the Magellan's site primarily due to the way the item is packaged. The left slipper is presented flat while, the right slipper is presented in a curl to showcase the shoe's flexibility/packability.

I purchased the Z's because they were the lightest weight option I could find and could handle use in wet conditions ie, amusement parks and hiking. Since, I made my purchase months ahead of planned usage, I wrapped thick rubberbands to reshape the right slipper and basically forgot about them for months. I was able to adjust any odd protuberances in the rubbery soles with adjustments to the rubberbands. They look great and seem to be well made, so far.
