I checked closely and some of the items on the list are old…..perhaps even outdated.

And overpriced.

List is indeed rather outdated (Iphone 3G? Coffee anyone?) and contains nothing but expensive tech gadgets that will be useless when the batteries are empty. Total bull, if I may say so. How about ear plugs, a bath tub plug, a MF towel for quick clothes drying, some safety pins, an in-flight baggie to keep at your seat and other things that make traveling far more efficient and cost next to nothing?

If one were to travel with just half the items on the list, it would add at least 10lb to the bag and you'd look like a traveling salesman for Best Buy or Brookstone. :)
