A lot of people talk favorably about Israeli-style airport security.
But there are some problems with trying to use that here.
First, there's the profiling. Whether you agree morally with such a tactic or not, politically it's a hard sell.
Second, Israel's a small country. Could such a model be replicated with the volume of passengers going through, say Atlanta, or other busy airport?
Third, what happens to your right to not be forced by the government to answer questions? If you want to fly, do you have to give up your 5th amendment rights?
