Well Brad, as you are so organized and efficient...may I hope that "tomorrow" is really one minute after midnight to log onto the computer? (Okay, I know it depends on the time zones too...so technically it's already "tomorrow" in Australia!)

Perhaps this will be a Tom Bihn bag meant for travelers who need to cope with airlines where an 8 kg limit applies to carry-on bags. A version of the Western Flyer in a lighter fabric, and without the backpack straps, just an Ultimate Strap, might well be feasible at 700 grams, i.e., 450 grams for the bag alone. Size would probably approximate 48 x 33 x 18 cm, fabric 4 oz/ sq.yd., etc. A heavier fabric provides more abrasion resistance, but that less of an issue if the bag is never going to be insulted by an airline baggage crew. Sort of a Helium Flyer, perhaps.
