Very nice and informative videos, looks like you had fun! I'm not interested in doing any camping soon, but you got me thinking about getting a silk sleep bag. I can't believe it wasn't on my list of things to get. Thanks for sharing and cool Casio watch by the way!

Thanks for the information. I'm on my way to SE Asia for 6 months and this was really helpful. What was the brand name of those clear thick plastic zipper bags with the red zipper pulls (at the end you had your DEET and sunblock in one of them). You said that bag only weighed 12 lbs?

hey, nice list - very similar to what I pack, though you have 2X as much clothes for the same amount of time... well ok, i'm thinking of the underwear. Anyway, a note on the water bottle to all out there taking this list to heart - get one, and get chlorine drops (e.g. Aquamira), and do the earth a favour. Takes 5min and you can sterilise water anywhere. Also: I do the umbrella - cooler in the monsoon, and more versatile for sitting around.
