Bombing at Moscow Airport

By now, I’m sure most of you have heard of the terrible bombing in Moscow. Our hearts go out to the vicitims and their families, and it shows that no country is immune to these monsters.

But it also had me thinking…even though it happened half way around the world, I’m sure TSA is going to overreact somehow. Anyone want to guess?

If TSA does nothing and there is an attack here then they were fools for not reacting to the Moscow incident. If TSA does something and there are no attacks here then they were fools for overreacting. Since they are always wrong no matter what I hope they choose to be wrong in the scenario that keeps me safest.

I watched the news coverage of this horrific event - on CBC (Canadian national network), BBC, and ABC (American). Interesting how the American news did point out that airports all over the world allow anyone to enter the buildings without having to go through security as you would have to do as a passenger. My first thought - I wonder how security regulations are going to be changed because of this news?

(I mean no offense or to trivialize the tragedy for those poor victims of this terror attack.)

I believe they will introduce mandatory pre-entrance screening. no more, no less.

they might eliminate pat down and made Advance Scanning technology mandatory. BTW, i'm against x-ray scanning , but fine with micro-waves, cause it looks to be less harmful that 10 minutes of call phone talk.

I predict they will choose to do something inefficient, ineffective and of questionable intelligence.

In other words, maintain the status quo.

To CR

Like pre-entrance screening. it's wrong, cause there will be alot of line and you just able to do what ever you want outside the airport.
