Heather's 14-day/12.5 lb. outfit

Here’s a picture of Heather’s sub-13 pound kit (read the details here):

I love looking at others’ packing photos on OBOW, so I’m sending a belated re-creation of my 14-day, 12.5lb. Germany/Czech Republic trip (hoping that other readers will send theirs).  Included are the clothes I wore on the plane, except for my 3-in-1 coat.  Also, the camera isn’t there because I’m using it to take the photo! - Heather

Truly a high standard of 'lightness' to aspire to! Excellent Heather!
I shall have to see what I can come up with in June.

Thanks for posting Heather!

I'm no where near that light yet. But I keep striving, and it's great to see detailed examples like yours.

This is very much like the amount and weight of stuff I carry for my extended trips. Also, I have a similar style hairbrush (Conair) and really love it for traveling. I don't use the flip out comb portion for my hair- instead I use it as a backscratcher. Very nice job Heather, thanx for including the photo!

Might I suggest an iphone or other similar smart phone? It's my phone (as it's unlocked and can use other sim cards), my computer, my camera, my video, my travel dictionary/translator, map book, lonely planet guide, movie/game entertainment, etc. all in one very lightweight package. And don't forget Dr. Bronner's soap: Soap, shampoo, toothpaste and laundry detergent all in one. When half empty, I refill with water. Regards....
