Looking forward to the EC Adventurer Weekender bag review. I don't know whether it will be sold where I live so might have to order online (and hope it's what I want).

Items that I am considering that might also merit a review if you can acquire one:

Tom Bihn Ristretto for iPad (does anyone NOT own an iPad?)

Tom Bihn Shop Bag, large (for an urban traveler's grocery and other shopping)

Osprey Ozone Courier Bag (ultralight, zipped)

I don't own an Ipad. (Thus my upcoming review of the Nexus 7.)

I may be getting a Ristretto for Ipad if I can sell off the remaining items on sale at OBOW.

I doubt I'll get the shop bag because I use canvas bags at home and a Chico shopping bag if I take one traveling.

Understood. The nicer version of the Chico shopping bag, their Vita, costs less than $11 delivered, whereas the Tom Bihn Shop Bag in a Large would cost $45 including the $10 minimum shipping.

But, I might still look at the TBSB, since a trip involved carrying bottles, I'd have much more faith in a bag that has separate sleeves for those. The latter concept is attractive as it generates the thought of a day in the art museums of Paris, then shopping for dinner on the way back to a furnished apartment taken for a two week term.

Incidentally another travel accessory we almost always take is a neoprene wine bag, which keeps a white wine chilled, while making it much easier to carry into a restaurant. These cost $15 or less.
