Research, but still wrong
Let’s just say I do it so you don’t have to. I received a nice new ExOfficio t-shirt (on sale now in certain colors) and I just had to test it. After a couple of wearings I was impressed with its comfort but I really wanted to put its odor-fighting properties to the test. After two days of continuous wear as an undershirt (slept in it too) it was almost entirely free of odor. The test may not have been completely fair as I had also washed it in my Stinkfighter formula, but since then I ‘ve worn if for more reasonable periods after normal machine washing and still no odor. This is another impressive ExO product. It’s the most comfortable poly shirt I’ve worn; apparently the 15% cotton brings a lot of comfort bang for the buck, and it still dries pretty quickly if wrung out well. They run quite big, so order down if your a borderline size. Since the shirt comes in colors it will serve as a casual shirt as well.

Now that's what I call going above and beyond the call of duty!! ;-)
Now, big question.....did you work up a sweat in it as well? You know the sort of hot and bothered type that you get rushing for the departure gate before it closes or that train that you have to catch that you know is about to pull out of the station.
To be honest no, but I usually can't wear standard synthetics for long in any situation without stinking them up - hence my development of the Stinkfighter formula and my affinity for anti-microbial fabrics.
Wow, what dedication to the cause! I have two of these shirts, and I really like them. I just like the ones that have a little bit of cotton, but maybe that is residual bias against early poly fabrics. Especially as undershirts, many of the all synthetics feel too slippery against the dress shirt, and can feel weird when they get sweaty. In any case, these shirts are great. Paula, I use them as an undershirt during the day, and then to exercise in afterwards with no problems. Wash in the sink after wards and it is dry by morning, and no funky business. Also, I like these for their small weight and bulk. Against a standard Froot of the Loom type all cotton T shirt, these are way smaller.
