Nice bag, old Chap

If you’ve a weakness for canvas and leather, prefer tea to coffee, and are sick of soulless mass production I have a bag maker for you. Chapman (UK) has updated their line for 2011 and as always there are some interesting pieces. The Gamekeeper (pictured) is a nice size and weight for the light traveler (L18”xH11”xD5”/0.75kg).

Oh, man, you sure know how to make my day. I drool over this stuff. There are two shops in Edinburgh we visit and they both have similar goods. Our tweed fix is taken care of at the Islay Woollen Mill on Islay. You can have custom clothing made from the Mill's tweed if you can't find what you want in the small shop. We also found a shop in Inverness that caters to those who need fine goods for the country life.

Good looking bag. All one needs is a finely tailored Hong Kong
safari suit to compliment this bag and to visit The Hong Kong
Country Club.for a nice brunch to possibly clinch a business deal.

That reminds me of a satchel I used in my early school days (dark brown colour), I can still smell the canvas and leather trim.
