Chase BA Visa Dropping Foreign Transaction Fee
Like many other cards, the Chase British Airways Visa Card charged a 3% foreign transaction fee on all purchases made in currency other than U.S. dollars.
Effective this month, Chase is eliminating the fee on that particular card and joining a few select other cards, like Capitol One, who don’t charge it either.

They’re currently running a special for people applying for the card—50,000 miles good enough for one transatlantic trip to the UK and parts of western Europe. You get 25k miles for signing up, and an additional 25k miles after charging $2500 in the first 3 months. BA miles can also be used on most of the other Oneworld airlines as well.

Here's the email I received:
We want you to be among the first to hear about the end of foreign transaction fees for British Airways Visa Signature® Cardmembers. There is nothing Cardmembers need to do to enjoy this benefit. This is great news for everyone hoping to save money while travelling abroad.
And here's a link to the story in USA Today:
