New 737 interior

Boeing is offering a new interior design to its customers and many are buying. It offers redsigned and larger storage bins (by a little), more headroom, but the same seat width and legroom.

 I couldn’t get it to resize to fit so here’s a link to a drawing of it:

The idea of more headroom is nice, but (you could just "hear" the but, eh?) I worry about the weight of carry on stuff sitting on a hinged surface. Some planes already have a bit of an upside down space, don't they? Any news of popping open more than old style?
