Budfits

Do you find that the ear buds now given on most ipods, mp3 players, or other audio devices keep falling out of your ear? I do. I’m constantly putting my ipod earbuds back in. And they never seemed comfortable.

Then I found Budfits. They easily attach to the ear buds, are pliable, comfortable, and keep the ear buds in my ear. They come in numerous colors. I got mine from Amazon.

Buds hurt my ears after a while and they require too much volume in a noisy environment.
I've had good luck with IEMs. Besides staying in the ear, they do a better job of noise isolation when they're fitted properly.

There are simple foam polsters for buds. These will keep them in your ears snuggly and comfortably. They used to come with earbuds but now they are only rarely included. Probably a cost saving measure. I often skipped these foam things because I found the headphones would sound better without them. That effectively limited the time I could listen to them before my ears would start to hurt from the hard buds, which is probably why my hearing is still quite alright.

The biggest problem with all of these ear phones and headphones in general is the cable breakage. Some companies (Shure, Sennheiser) are now offering headphones where the cables can be exchanged. But unfortunately they are quite expensive to start with.

very comfortable in my ear and they don't hurt or fall out.
I cannot wear the ones in your picture, they won't stay in, I can barely wear the ones that fit over the ear, they pop off.......maybe I have strange shaped ears (I'm not Vulcan.....honest).
