UK luggage allowance guide

Here’s a list of airline luggage allowances for carriers operating out of the UK. Irritatingly, it doesn’t always give dimensions for carry-ons but has all the weights. And since it’s from a newspaper we can assume it’s up-to-date.

Don't assume it's up to date or correct. As an example, BA allows one carry-on (22 x 18 x 10) plus a personal item (according to the BA website). The Telegraph only says one item and, like you mention, gives no dimensions.

Since the Telegraph is the more conservative, upper-crust newspaper, I'm guessing they think most of their readers "check' luggage.

While the article might be good as a general guide, I'm still going to use the airline's websites to make sure I know their carry-on policies.

I'm sorry, but have you read a newspaper lately?

I have a lot more faith in bloggers than the main stream media nowadays.
